19,342 patients in the UK, Ireland and Nordic regions are participating in the ASCOT study, helping to develop our understanding of high blood pressure and how it is best managed.

ASCOT is also Europe's largest ever study of lipid management in hypertension. Involving nearly 10,000 patients in the UK, Ireland and Nordic regions, the results of ASCOT are anticipated to raise major questions about our current approach to cholesterol lowering in hypertension.
